CAPACITY

Xuan Son Cement Plant is one of the largest cement plants in Vietnam, with a production capacity of up to 3.5 million tons of cement per year. To achieve this output, the plant has implemented modern production processes and utilizes advanced automated electrical systems from reputable suppliers such as Polysius, Pfeiffer – AG, Flender, Haver & Boecker, and ABB. These cutting-edge technologies have brought numerous practical benefits, including reduced production costs. Specifically, the plant maintains thermal energy consumption below 680 kcal/kg of clinker and electricity consumption below 71 kWh per ton of cement.

STRENGTHS

The plant stands out for its implementation of waste co-processing technology in the cement kiln, leveraging waste heat from the clinker burning process to generate surplus electricity. This not only reduces production costs but also meets stringent environmental protection standards, aiming for green cement production with a commitment to zero NOx and CO2 emissions.

The plant is equipped with a clinker kiln featuring a two-branch, six-stage, seven-tier heat exchange tower and a three-support rotary kiln. The REPOL20110 clinker cooling system, combined with a specialized roller crusher, ensures optimal efficiency. The cement bagging system, supplied by Haver & Boecker, is fully automated—from bagging to stacking on transportation vehicles—enhancing product quality and uniformity while minimizing labor costs.

Furthermore, the production line’s electric motors utilize permanent magnet motors and frequency inverter starter motors from ABB Switzerland, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.

Additionally, Xuan Son Cement Plant possesses high-quality limestone and clay mines with exceptional material consistency. Experts have recognized these as some of the best raw material sources for cement production in Vietnam, contributing to the increased durability and value of the final products.
